Lulu Is Like, Duh... He Needs A Police Report

"There was no police permit for this protest. It was an illegal gathering. The crowd gathered for about 15 minutes and dispersed after they were instructed to do so.
"They were also ordered to remove the cow's head, which they complied,"

As of now, Khalid said no police report has been lodged over the incident. "If a report is lodged, we will definitely take the necessary action," he stressed.

it sickens Lulu that he had to wait for a police report to be lodged.
If that is the case, who lodged the report where the police went to arrest Lulu's MP, ADUN and Councillor outside the PJ Civic Center during a peaceful vigil?
and now that Najib has spoken (though it is only through Human Resources Minister Dr S Subramaniam's hearsay), Lulu is waiting to see what sort of action will be taken against who.

Will these "protestors" whose face can be seen SO clearly be taken in?
or will it be the Malaysiakini writers who published it online together with the MInsider photographer who provided the visuals to MI?
or will it be Dr Xavier being part of the EXCO which approved the temple construction?
or will it be the ADUN and the MP for the area, Rodziah Ismail and Khalid Samad respectively, for not being able to defend the majority residents right therefore allowing their anger to stir?
or will it be Lulu for blogging this and you for reading it?

This is Malaysia.
Lulu is not too sure if the obvious will take place. Time and time again, we have seen the innocents being punished at the expense of the ultras and the chauvanists.

If The Army Could Run Program Berbentuk Kemasyarakatan In Permatang Pasir, Lulu Hopes They Can Do The Same For Starving Penans in Sarawak

the military doctors very kindly helped do medical screening and aid at permatang pasir, coinciding [oh what luck!] with the permatang pasir by-elections.

The Orang Asals in the interior of Sarawak are now are facing acute food shortage. Whilst most of us are deciding between noodles and rice, McD or KFC, original or hot & spicy, the Penans had faced food shortage in the last four months after their farms were destroyed by insects and monkeys, resulting in poor harvest.

Some individuals have raised money to send food to our fellow anak bangsa Malaysia who are in hunger.
Unfortunately, the food cannot reach them due to logistic problems.

No bridge, so no food for Penans

MIRI: The food shortage problem in central Sarawak has been worsened after a timber company dismantled an iron bridge that links up to 3,000 people living inside the remote areas.

Efforts to send food aid to the Penans have now been seriously hampered.

Yesterday, more than 1,600 packets of rice weighing 16,000kg were despatched by donors through the Catholic Church.

However, the food supply is stuck at the Sungai Asap settlement, about 50km from the Bakun Dam, as timber lorries used to deliver the food cannot cross the Sungai Linau after the dismantling of the bridge.

The timber concession area was earmarked for flooding this October to create a reservoir for the dam.

Reverend Father Sylvester Ding, aid collection co-ordinator, said it would take a long time to carry food aid across the river by boat.

“We are in a dilemma as to how to send the food to Lusong Laku settlement and SRK Lusong Laku where the food shortage is most acute.

“We have no choice but to seek help from the locals to transport the food across the river.

“We will also try to reach five other settlements near the Indonesian border by other routes. We hope the weather will be favourable, as it has been a few weeks since supply reached those in need,” he said.
This is so sad.
Lulu hopes the army can step in to help with the food delivery.
Maybe even the big companies who have their own helicopters - off Lulu's mind - people like Genting could assist in food aid as part of their community project cum clear our conscience programme.

If you are a Lulu reader, and are filthy rich or know of people who are filthy rich, could you ask them to help.

In the mean time, the Penans live in hunger.

Lulu Not Sure Which Signal Is Najib Sending Out To Non-Performing Ministers

Yesterday, Najib announced the appointment of MAS MD and CEO Idril Jala as a minister without portfolio in the PM's Department and CEO of Performance Management and Delivery Unit.
Najib announced this during a cabinet KPI workshop.

The current Minister in charge is Koh Tsu Koon, and Idris Jala will report to him on KPI matters only, and for everything else, to the PM directly.

so, Lulu was thinking.
There is little doubt in lulu's little mind that KTK is not able to handle the KPI thingy and Najib brought in support. If KTK were to be measured by his delivarables today, he would have failed miserably.

what Lulu is wondering is,
is Najib helping non-performers by bring in help to complement the weaklings, to help and guide them etc so that the non-performer will understand what is required and be able to do his job well
or
is Najib warning non-performers that he will not hesitate to appoint someone to do your work if you are unable to perform and eventually, you will be booted out.

wonder which KTK thinks it is.
or maybe he so blur, does not even realise he is under performing.

Lulu Is Glad The People Rejected Rohaizat

after many days of telling people to vote rohaizat cos he's the best, a good son, a great friend, a community leader, life changer etc,
now that he's lost Permatang Pasir, they are reviewing Rohaizat's position as the Permatang Pauh division secretary.
can you imagine what sort of disciplinary action they'd have taken if he won?
Lulu's guess is, none.
They would have pat him on the back, carried him on their shoulders and hailed him as the hero.

Lulu Thinks Rohaizat Should Look In The Mirror

Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate Rohaizat Othman today hinted that one of the factors that could have caused his defeat was the “failure of the Chinese community to fulfill their promises of support”, in an indication that the racial rhetoric played and used against their rivals by the ruling coalition may have backfired.
“I am saddened by the fact that the Chinese community here have failed to fulfill their vows of support. They have failed to understand the concept of development that BN is trying to bring to the people of Permatang Pasir,” said Rohaizat.
The Umno man, however, refused to elaborate why he thought Chinese support was not forthcoming, saying that he would leave it to the central leadership to conduct a post-mortem to reveal the reasons.

Rohaizat should look in the mirror and realise that his integrity let him and his party down.
Doesn't he realise that the fact that he was disbarred for not being able to repay his client their money weighed in on what people thought of him?
That he wasnt even honest enough to tell his umno tai-kors, first by not telling them about it at all and when it terbongkar-ed pretending that his name was struck off from the disciplinary role, and then by shoving the blame to his partner.
to quote joceline tan of the star
The Umno side learnt of the allegations a few days before the nomination date. Rohaizat assured them the problem had been settled and they took his word for it. However, he admitted to being struck off the Bar Council roll only when the issue blew up and by then it was too late. He was not up-front even to his own party leaders.
oh. it didnt help that he was starting on the evil umno platform anyway.

then why blame the chinese?
this incorrigible liar lost by 4,551 votes.
there are 5,244 chinese voters in permatang pasir.
he would have needed near perfect attendance and almost perfect support of the chinese votes in his favour to tip the scale to his favour.
even lim guan eng is not so silly as to think he can command 100% chinese support.
duh rohaizat, duh. You lost because the voters, regardless of race, did not think much of you and your party. Blame yourself-lah, and blame your party. Stop blaming other people.
Terrible. CBT? blame the partner. Lost the byelection? blame the chinese.

when umno does their postmortem, on the top of the list should be the words "calon teruk".
and his backers from federal umno, like the chap who has been his friend for more than 10 years and can vouch for his character should be reprimanded for not listening to the grassroots and bulldozing their candidate through.

People Starving In Lulu's Own Country

The Star had a report on the acute food shortage inn Sarawak.
The Catholic Church here has sent out an urgent appeal to the public to help little children and adults who are facing acute food shortage in the remote Kapit Division in central Sarawak.
The food shortage in the Kapit Division has worsened and the people have sent out another appeal for immediate help.
The Miri Catholic Church, which has received urgent appeal from the folks there, is urging parishioners and the public to help these people who are living from hand to mouth every day.
You can read more of it here http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2009/8/24/nation/4577979&sec=nation

Lulu Dedicates This Rock Song To PAS Youth

PAS: Rock event festival of sin
Organisers of the "Michael Learns to Rock - eternity tour 2009" had better take heed of PAS's disapproval of the concert as it sees political implications and, at stake, the dignity of Muslims.

PAS Youth called on the organisers to immediately cancel the concert by the Danish group or face a protest demonstration.

Its chief, Nasrudin Hassan Tantawi, strongly condemned the cabinet's decision in allowing the "Michael Learns to Rock - eternity tour 2009" scheduled for Sept 5 in Genting Highlands.

"This is an insult at the highest level to Muslims and it shows that BN is disrespectful towards the Muslim community," he said today in a press statement.

While urging Islamic NGOs to support calling off the event, he also hit out at the BN government for approving the concert.

He threw a challenge at Umno youth: "Join forces with us in getting the concert banned."

He also questioned the role of Umno as defenders of the Islamic faith.

"If Umno allows this to go on, not only would they be devoid of blessings from Allah, the people would regard them with disgust at their Islamic pretense," he said.

He also called on the Fatwa Council and muftis to join in the protest against the cabinet for allowing such a "festival of sin" to take place.

This Is Too Good For Lulu To Not Share

EC bust ceramah for abuse of gov't machinery
The Welfare Department and a deputy minister were left red faced yesterday after a function they were involved in was stopped by the Election Commission.
The Barisan Nasional ceramah at Sama Gagah village was stopped following complaints by PKR officials that government machinery was being abused for campaigning purposes.
Led by EC officer Sulaiman Abdullah a team of enforcement officers visited the scene, accompanied by complainants, PKR treasurer-general William Leong, PKR, Youth deputy chief Faris Musa and Pantai Jerajak state rep Sim Tze Tzin.
Their surprise visit prompted Deputy Information, Communications and Culture Minister Heang Siak Kee to stop her speech half-way and vanish from the scene.
Sulaiman and his team also inspected a bus bearing the the Welfare Department logo and later instructed the bus driver to take the bus away.
Later, Sulaiman ordered a counter run, by the Women, Family and Community Development Ministry, to be closed immediately.
Ministry officers were seen frantically taking down buntings and other materials, while trying to avoid press photographers, before leaving on another bus.
With Heang's departure, the function had only Seberang Jaya state assemblyperson Arif Shah Omar Shah as the only Barisan Nasional representative present.
Arif Shah said he happened to be passing the area and believed that the function was organised by "some NGOs".
Contrary to his claim, large numbers of BN flags were draped all over the venue.
On the stage, the words "Please vote BN" were written in large Chinese characters. There were also several hampers on stage as well.
On Heang's presence, Arif said she was here to "shake hands" with voters.
"We all happened to be here. But Heang was later invited on stage to give a speech".
In another development, Sim claimed Heang's had said in her speech that all participants above 60 were allowed to claim RM200 from the organisers.
"Under the election laws, this is illegal," said Sim, who also urged the EC to take stern action against the event organisers.
Lulu hopes this will put an end on BN's blatant abuse on government machinery and organizations. They have grown very bold his round, to the extent of using the army.

Lulu Watched RTM1 News And Took Notes

Lulu posed a challenge to her facebook friends - to watch RTM1 news at 8pm to understand why there are still people who vote BN. After that, tell people what you heard and what the truth is

Its quite difficult to watch the propoganda spewed by RTM. Its like reading the Utusan, but worse. Cos with reading, you can choose to skip when the bits get too gory, but with news, you cant switch off your ears.
And to help Lulu listen attentively and leave her no time to puke, Lulu took notes and is going to share them with you.

In His Feeble Attempt to Incite Fear, Lulu Thinks Hisham Got It Terbalik

“If we are not firm, what happened to the MACC can also happen to the police and the Prisons Department,” he told reporters after a visit to the Kluang Prison, here.
MI - Hisham warns police, prisons could end up like MACC
dunno about you, Lulu thinks it went the other way.
The police and the prison has a history of death in custody.
Now, what has happened in the police lockups and prisons have happened in MACC.

Lulu Wonders If Koh Tsu Koon Thinks BN's Campaigning In Permatang Pasir Hangat or Not

Koh Tsu Koon says, the PR campaign in Permatang Pasir "tidak begitu hangat".
Lulu wonders if he went for KJ's ceramah or not

and to take it one step further, how many do you think would attend a Koh Tsu Koon ceramah?

Lulu Ceh-Ceh Cis-Cis Nazri For Jumping To Conclusions

Molotov cocktail attack shows underworld links
2009/08/20
KLANG: A Molotov cocktail thrown at a vehicle belonging to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) branch here this morning supports the claims that certain Selangor representatives are linked to the underworld, says Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz.
The vehicle was parked at the old district land office off Jalan Kota here.
so fast Nazri claims that this is evidence that "certain Selangor representatives are linked to the underworld"
Is that all that MACC in Klang, Selangor investigates?
Don't they have other cases, or is Selangor representatives their entire focus?
opps. the latter may be true.

But even so, Nazri should also consider that within MACC, there are different fractions. There is a fraction there who has seen enough evil to come forth with some truth as revealed in the letter here.
The arsonist could be sent from those within MACC who want to silence the braver souls

ceh-ceh cis-cis on Nazri for jumping to conclusions

If Lulu Were Part Of The Supreme Council, Lulu Would Hope That Rohaizat Loses Too

this chap, his law firm, dunno exactly what happened, found himself in a situation where he could not refund almost RM 161,000 to Koperasi Pekebun Getah Negeri Pulau Pinang Berhad after a transaction to purchase a property was aborted.

Probably the Koperasi waited and waited.
Kasi chance
But in the end, they lodged a report with the Bar Council, which subsequently led to him being disbarred as a lawyer.

UMNO, for face reasons, have now chosen to paint him as a hero.

Whether it was him, his partner, his law firm, it shows his inability to cover up. and cover up fast.
The thing is, Rohaizat was not bright enough to work out a solution which could have cleared him many years back.
How then can he be trusted/empowered to handle all that nonsense that UMNO does?
Don't you think that if he could foul up his own case, he would get so confused by the complexity of UMNO book keeping and do something stupid when covering up his dishonest trail?
Wouldnt this bumbling bee more likely be a liability to this party which is not known for their honest ways?

If Lulu were part of the Supreme Council, or part of the bigwigs in UMNO Penang, Lulu would work to see that this bumbling bee would not be a part of the inner circle. Work to see him lose and then forgotten. There is too much hanky-panky in the party to let him be a part of.

Lulu Was Wondering How Long Before They Paint Him As A Hero

looks like Lulu didnt have to wait long

“So he is actually a hero. He saved his firm. This is the quality of a good leader and it should be admired instead of being chided,”
http://www.malaysianinsider.com/index.php/malaysia/35465-defensive-bn-maintains-candidates-innocence

kuli, on the other hand, has a different opinion of the candidate, and worries for his party

a different set of rules

I don’t know En. Rohaizat. He may be a fine upstanding citizen. However, his public record of dishonesty would long ago have disqualified him from being a candidate for public office in any normal political party.
Is Umno so short of people that we have to find a lawyer disbarred for financial dishonesty to stand? Has financial misconduct become so common among us that we no longer see it as a factor in a candidate’s suitability? The party leaders who select and screen candidates must have known of this impediment but considered financial misconduct a trivial matter.
Honesty is a minimal condition for public office. Whatever the other virtues of the candidate, he should not be considered if he fails this test. The candidates we field for election must have a clean record because we are asking the public to place their confidence in him as their leader, and democratic government breaks down without public confidence. We are also saying this candidate represents us. I’m sad to have to say such obvious things.
By fielding a disbarred lawyer, today’s Umno is projecting the image that it lives by a different moral code from the rest of Malaysia. One set of rules for Umno, and another for everyone else. Either that, or this is the best we can do.

Lulu Thinks rakan kongsi Rohaizat, Yusri Isahak, should sue Rohaizat and UMNO for slander

it has been revealed/terbongkar that the umno candidate for Permatang Pasir has been disbarred.

the umno fellas have chosen to pin the blame on him
The Bar Council has clarified that the finding of misconduct is personal to Rohaizat Othman, as the Disciplinary Board would not hold a lawyer liable for the actions of his/her law partner(s).

Yusri should sue Rohaizat for painting the picture that he was a victim of Yusri's misdeeds.

Lulu Hopes You Will Play Your Part To Help Save The Generous Guillible Donors Of Malaysia

“We have assets of RM2bil and do not need donations,”
- MCA treasurer-general Tan Sri Tee Hock Seng
http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2009/8/17/nation/4532871&sec=nation
If any of Lulu's readers or their parents attend a MCA function and they pass around a donation box, you should take the donation box to the organisers and tell them to simpan the peti cos their treasurer general said "We have assets of RM2bil and do not need donations".

Maybe you'll protect a generous gullible donor like Tiong from donating to the mega-rich.
The revelation by a MCA divisional leader that the party owns RM2 billion worth of assets has Bintulu MP and tycoon Tiong King Sing all riled up.
This is because the party approached him for help in order to secure the use of eight four-storey shoplots for MCA-owned Tunku Abdul Rahman (TAR) College campus in Penampang, Sabah.
Based on the tenancy agreement, TAR College only needs to pay Tiong's company Wawasan Sdn Bhd a nominal fee of RM1 monthly for all units.

Lulu Doesnt Think Its A Smart Idea To Price Control-kan Face Masks

even though there are some retailers out there making disgusting profits on the face masks, it may not be a smart move to price control it without doing a proper study.

if the face masks become too expensive, dont buy them. use a hanky and twirl-twirl it like when you were young and playing cowboys and red indians or making one with an old t-shirt will be cheaper.

lulu's fear is that if the price they set is too low, it could end up like the sugar shortage we are now facing.
worse, it could become non-existant like condensed milk in Malaysia.

Lulu Thinks Wee Is Not Aware of His Super Power

A simple entry to his blog has the police investigating male DAP members of the exco.
it's like so wah and woh.
for years, RPK has been writing and writing and writing, uncovering dirt here and there and everywhere [in BN's direction-lah], and nothing seems to catch the police's eye.

and here is this amateur, in a not all that widely read blog, claiming that the office of a Selangor exco member was being used by some underworld characters. and lo and behold, the cops come swooping in.
The police have visited the offices of two Selangor exco members, believed to be in connection with their probe into alleged links between exco members and underworld figures.
At 1.45pm, the police were still checking files and questioning people at the offices of Ronnie Liu and Ean Yong Hian Wah at the Selangor state secretariat building in Shah Alam.
The police, from the federal commercial crime department and the cyber crime unit, arrived about 11.30am. They have been camped inside the two offices since then.
either wee has super powers,
or
the police just likes to believe and investigate an allegation made against a PR representatives.

Maybe Wee should write something about OTK or Tiong.
Then we'll know for sure how super his super powers are.

...and Then Lulu Remembered, Khairy Didnt Grow Up In Malaysia

not his fault.
He was a diplomat's son. He was born in Kuwait, and followed his dad in his overseas stint. Unlike Art Harun, he didnt grow up making friends with the more normal type of Malaysian kids - the muhibah ones.

Due to his limited exposure plus the people he mixes around with today and the ambitions he harbours, he tends to use racial tones.

He can't change his childhood,
but if he could rethink his choice of people to mix with or the ambition he harbours, maybe he could be a better person. a nice likable person.

Until then, we have to live with this nasty-nasty UMNO youth leader.

Friday Night, And Lulu Got No Date

Friday night, no date, so Lulu decided to check out OTK's tight schedule.
"Lim said the reason the minister had opted to use a chartered airplane was due to his tight schedule and to prevent being late."
http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/110396
but Lulu also has other things to do, so, Lulu check out one of his private flights aje-lah.
OTK took Tiong's plane on 19 feb 09 KL-JB etd 0745 and returned 2230.

on the night of 18th feb 2009, OTK attended the Chinese New Year celebration organised by the Federal Territories MCA at Chin Woo Hall, Kuala Lumpur.
http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2009/2/19/nation/3299354&sec=nation
so, guess he cant leave the night before else he'd disappoint all his fan club members from the FT MCA.

The next day, because of his tight schedule and to prevent being late, he took Tiong's private jet to JB, etd 0745.
Lulu's not sure what he did in the daytime, but he was at the Association Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia’s (ACCCIM) 62nd anniversary dinner at night.
http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2009/2/21/nation/3318663&sec=nation
And because of the dinner, and because of his tight schedule and to prevent being late, he took Tiong's private jet back to KL etd 2230.

Lulu looked up the diff available common people's airplane
first in last out
MAS 0715 2035
Air Asia 0755 0945
Firefly 0715 1900

maybe cos there was no flight to take him home that same night, but aiyah...., if the plane left at 2230JB, it would have arrive after 2300. Did OTK have an important meeting in KL after midnight? What was he rushing back at this mm-keen-tak-kong [cannot see brightness] time? Err... meeting a deepthroat? checking the status of RM10mil vs other people's RM100mil?

Isnt there the option of staying over in JB that night and taking the first flight back to KL the next day? WOuldn't that have been wiser use of the Rakyat's money?

btw, CHina Press reports that
that the government's General Order stated that all officials including ministers can only fly Malaysia Airlines, AirAsia and use government owned cars.
Quoting an anonymous government source, the report added that at no time are ministers allowed to use private aircraft.
The source said all external expenses must be given prior approval by the chief secretary of the ministry because the ministry treasury will issue a 'local order'.
"Thus, the transport minister and his secretary's statement that they have not received an invoice is misleading the public.
"Under the local order, post-dated invoices or bills cannot be claimed," said the source.
opps-ie daisy OTK. Looks like you going to have to sendiri foot the bill. Or at least make the party pay for it-lah.
Its quite ironic and amusing thinking how Tiong has taken Ong on a ride, in more ways than one. LOL!

Uthaya, What About Lulu?

"By having Indian-majority seats, Malaysian Indians can be politically stronger.
They could demand that both federal and state governments safeguard and enhance their political and socio-economic rights, interests and benefits,"

- P Uthayakumar

if there is a new law discriminating women, will Uthaya speak up for us?
if an english newspaper is suspended, will Uthaya speak up for freedom of press?
if migrants are abused, will Uthaya speak up for the oppresed in Malaysia?

Because Uthaya understands discrimination and suffering, Lulu would not be surprised if the answer is "yes"
then why does Uthaya have to say things like "Indian majority", "Malaysian Indians"
for everyone Uthaya, for everyone.
not just for one race. take care of us all. rights, interest and benefits are not restricted to race, religion or gender.

Lulu Searched And Searched And Searched, And She Could Not Find

Lulu woke up pretty early this morning.
as in pretty early, not necessarily looking pretty
looking blur definitely.

anyway, being the internet junkie that Lulu is, Lulu checked what recent updates were on the blogs.
obviously, this one caught Lulu's eye - a posting from Rocky "Loke Siew Fook, did you write that about our Sultan?"
gasp!
what could it be about.
so, Lulu went to Rocky's blog to check it out.

According to Rocky,
it is about allegations made over the weekend by some blogs that Loke, who is also MP for Rasah, had called the Sultan of Perak and son Raja Nazrin by some unsavoury names in a posting dated Aug 6 on the blog The Might of the Pen.

Lulu looked through the screenshot. Read and re-read, searched and searched and searched and could not find anything which ties Anthony Loke, MP for Rasah and DAP Youth Chairman, with what was posted by the Might of the Pen.

maybe cos masih awal pagi and Lulu blur.

just now, Lulu looked at Rocky's post again.
Anthony has responded
Dear Mr Rocky,

I strongly deny the allegation that I have written the article to insult the Sultan of Perak and Raja Nazrin. I have no prior knowledge whatsoever on that particular blog http://sjsandteam.wordpress.com/

My ONE and ONLY blog is lokesiewfook.blogspot.com

I have NEVER written anything that insult the Royalty, Malays or Islam in my life. There is an effort to slander DAP Youth and myself and spread lies that we are anti-Islam and anti-Royalty.

I do not know who is behind that blog and I have nothing to do with it.

As a responsible blogger, I hope you can first verify the facts before making any assumptions. I will be lodging a police report today to deny the article and I hope you can publish my explanation to clear the air later. Thank you.

phew
looks like its not Lulu not so siuman in the morning.
The accusation is probably that Anthony Loke is behind that blog, but if you look at the stuff on that blog, it is quite obvious that the causes it "champions" is not the sort that Anthony [like so friend like that. Lulu knows him but he does not know Lulu] champions. Not even closet champion-er of those sort of things.

But what this whole incident reveals [beside the point that Lulu thinks Might of The Pen is a racist blog with a lot of crude language] is that these UMNO fellas are trying to give DAP a bad rap with baseless accusations and Anthony Loke seems to be target of the week. Look at how the pro-UMNO blogs are whacking him "Loke Siew Fook mesti dicaj sekeras-kerasnya di bawah Akta Hasutan!", "Biadap, Kurang Ajar Dan Naik Kepala", "ACT NOW!!!!!!!!!!", are some examples. Looking into the crystal ball, Lulu would not be surprised if the editorials in Utusan and Berita Harian would heavily hint of "some MP from DAP" memburuking the Sultan's good name. Afterall, they believe that if you repeat a lie often enough, people will start to believe the lie. See how the blogs caught on?

sigh
you know why?
cos the nastiness has barely begun.
we are going to have to endure it until a new government takes over

Lulu Wonders, How-lah If Their Children Get A Scholarship to UK or US

there are some people in Malaysia who feel that beer should not be sold in areas with a Muslim majority living in it.
those who dont like DAP have cried out loud, in deep anguish, full of emotion saying that by not disallowing beer to be sold, by asking the MBSA to return the confiscated beer that DAP does not respect Islam, insulting Islam etc forgetting that
1. there is no law which allowed that confiscation,
2. there is no law forbidding the sale to non-Muslims in the area,
3. for 51 years under BN rule, beer was sold in that area,
4. the BN ruled states do not have a problem
so, Lulu is going to pooh and pah their hue and cry.

Lulu wonders, how-lah, these hue-ers and cry-ers, if their children get a scholarship to US or UK? Or even to UM? In those countries and in PJ & KL, beer is sold in mini markets and convienience stores. How? The beer is screaming out, "BUY ME! BUY ME!". How? Give up the scholarship and stay in your Muslim majority enclave, safe from the presence of beer?

No-lah.
Teach your children well.
Teach them God's law and the moral law.
If God has said no, there is a reason and there will be consequences to disobedience.
Over consumption of alcohol gives you a "nice feeling" but at the expense of impairing your judgement.
And then, set your child free.

Looks Like Lulu May Never Know

Yesterday, Malaysiakini reported that the government was considering imposing an Internet filter to block "undesirable" websites, on the grounds of maintaining racial harmony in the multicultural nation.

A senior official with the National Security Council (NSC) told AFP that, "It is to keep out pornographic materials and bloggers who inflame racial sentiments. We need to maintain racial harmony. We cannot have full-blown democracy like in the United States"

That got Lulu thinking.
You know how the ruling party confuses Melayu and UMNO and interchanges both terms sesuka hati? So, Lulu suspects the ruling party's definition of "inflame racial sentiments" would most probably be anything that does not put UMNO in a favourable light.

So [so many so's yah?], maklumlah, Lulu's blog does not love UMNO.
think-think-think a bit more.
Lulu was kinda like in a dilemma. I dont want to get my blog banned, but I dont want to be a blog that is acceptable by this kerajaan.
It was like, Lulu wants to be banned.
[imagine patriotic music in the background] To wear the badge of honor - "Banned by Kerajaan UMNO". To wear it with pride, as a true anak bangsa Malaysia. A Malaysian Malaysia.

but alas,
Rais Yatim, a minister whom Lulu has very little respect for, has clarified that
the filter was only to stop access to pornography which was freely available online at present. He was concerned about “Malaysian children’s exposure to online pornography." and then drifted to “Look at the situation of countries which had fallen victim to widespread pornography, resulting in child sex."
mind you, Lulu has read "Flowers in the Attic" and they didnt have the internet then to discover sex and incest.

AND then, poor silly Rais kena belot by his boss.
His boss said,
"The Government will not censor the Internet as such a move will be ineffective in a borderless world where information flows freely"

and before bloggers and buggers get too comfortable with that, trust Lulu. Najib will hit you in other ways. He not stupid, and he not tolerant.

Lulu's Hurting For Beng Hock's Mother

According to counsel for Teoh's family Lim Lip Eng, it was originally arranged for the coroner to visit the entire 14th floor, but lawyers asked to see the 15th floor as well.
"We were walking up the staircase to the 15th floor through the backdoor. When we reached the 15th floor, we found a two-feet long stain on the floor of the staircase.
“We asked the director of (Selangor) MACC what was the stain but he didn't know. The police investigating officer said he would inspect the substance," said Lim.
When the team entered the 15th floor office, they were not allowed to visit individual rooms.
Lim said they saw more stains on a wall in the room when they looked through a glass pane on the door.
“It looked like blood. I can't say for sure. Once again, we asked the director and the investigating officer and they said they didn't know about it and did not include it as part of the investigations,” said an irate Lim, who is also Segambut MP.

cos their rambut, so the same.

Lulu Wants You To Use Your Imagination

Our soon-supposed-to-be retired IGP was awarded SIngapore's Distinguished Service Order for his “outstanding contributions in fostering excellent ties and cooperation” between the Malaysian police and the republic’s police force.
He received the award from Singapore President, SR Nathan yesterday.
Lulu is sure that this will be one of the reasons cited for extending his soon-to-be-ending contract would be this award.

now, Lulu would like you to use your imagination.
Imagine
imagine if this was Anwar, or Nik Aziz or even Lim Guan Eng receiving this award.
What sort of accusations do you think narrow minded idiots would hurl upon them?
In general, there would be those "foreign agent", "Singapore stooges" hurled.
For Anwar and Nik Aziz, they would accuse them of being less Malay kowtow-ing to a Singaporean Indian, making the jatuhkan their race.
Utusan would probably bitch about it for a few days.

but this is the soon-supposed-to-be retired IGP. He is on the correct side of UMNO. Hence, this is a great honor for him.

He Hails Himself As Hero, But Lulu Calls Him Delusional

on Saturday, he hailed himself as the pro-ISA hero.
“I walked alone to represent the 100,000 Magaran members, and I succeeded in delivering the pro-ISA memorandum.
“I can sleep soundly tonight because I succeeded in fulfilling the expectation of the pro-ISA NGOs, without getting into trouble,’’

the next day, the cops outed him
The lone pro-ISA supporter, Mohd Khairul Azam Abd Aziz never made it in his one man mission to Istana Negara to hand over a memorandum as he claimed, said Brickfields police chief Asst Comm Wan Abdul Bari Wan Abdul Khalid.
He said Mohd Khairul Azam was stopped by police officers from approaching the palace at 7pm on Saturday.
“The said pro-ISA memorandum that he claimed he submitted was never actually delivered as the palace officials were not at hand to receive it.

Lulu Reads These Two Pieces Of News And Wonders....

Monday August 3, 2009
Assemblyman allegedly demanded 10% as commission for RM1.5mil project
KUALA LUMPUR: A Terengganu state assemblyman has been arrested by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) for alleged graft involving a project worth more than RM1.5mil.
It is learnt that the assemblyman from Barisan Nasional was arrested together with another man who is believed to be his agent.

Anti-Ahmad forces getting restless
THE crowd at Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s birthday kenduri was bigger than that at last year’s do.
But it is not all fun and laughter for the birthday boy because midway through the gathering at his Putrajaya house, the Prime Minister withdrew into the study for a brief meeting with some Terengganu politicians.
There is trouble in Terengganu.
The year-old political impasse between two Umno factions has not eased and speculation has swirled for several weeks now that some assemblymen had met PKR adviser Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Najib was not amused and told off the five Terengganu politicians when he met them. He told them not to try anything funny because he would not tolerate it.
with the Sunday editorial, Lulu cant help but wonder it
1. is that corrupt chap who got caught one of the five
2. was the arrest incident where he was caught red-handed while receiving money by Putrajaya MACC officers set up after the AI meeting or did MACC already have sufficient evidence, but keluarkan file because of the AI meeting.

coincidence?
or
MACC's super investigative skills?

Lulu hopes its the latter. So that at least you and i know, and all those corrupt politicians on the right side of Barisan Nasional knows.

Lulu Wonders, In Malaysia, Are We Allowed Legal Representation If We're Arrested

cos about 10 lawyers have sought to provide legal assistance but they were denied access to the detainees.
and this is not the first time Lulu has seen this happen
