Lulu Thinks Rohaizat Should Look In The Mirror

Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate Rohaizat Othman today hinted that one of the factors that could have caused his defeat was the “failure of the Chinese community to fulfill their promises of support”, in an indication that the racial rhetoric played and used against their rivals by the ruling coalition may have backfired.
“I am saddened by the fact that the Chinese community here have failed to fulfill their vows of support. They have failed to understand the concept of development that BN is trying to bring to the people of Permatang Pasir,” said Rohaizat.
The Umno man, however, refused to elaborate why he thought Chinese support was not forthcoming, saying that he would leave it to the central leadership to conduct a post-mortem to reveal the reasons.

Rohaizat should look in the mirror and realise that his integrity let him and his party down.
Doesn't he realise that the fact that he was disbarred for not being able to repay his client their money weighed in on what people thought of him?
That he wasnt even honest enough to tell his umno tai-kors, first by not telling them about it at all and when it terbongkar-ed pretending that his name was struck off from the disciplinary role, and then by shoving the blame to his partner.
to quote joceline tan of the star
The Umno side learnt of the allegations a few days before the nomination date. Rohaizat assured them the problem had been settled and they took his word for it. However, he admitted to being struck off the Bar Council roll only when the issue blew up and by then it was too late. He was not up-front even to his own party leaders.
oh. it didnt help that he was starting on the evil umno platform anyway.

then why blame the chinese?
this incorrigible liar lost by 4,551 votes.
there are 5,244 chinese voters in permatang pasir.
he would have needed near perfect attendance and almost perfect support of the chinese votes in his favour to tip the scale to his favour.
even lim guan eng is not so silly as to think he can command 100% chinese support.
duh rohaizat, duh. You lost because the voters, regardless of race, did not think much of you and your party. Blame yourself-lah, and blame your party. Stop blaming other people.
Terrible. CBT? blame the partner. Lost the byelection? blame the chinese.

when umno does their postmortem, on the top of the list should be the words "calon teruk".
and his backers from federal umno, like the chap who has been his friend for more than 10 years and can vouch for his character should be reprimanded for not listening to the grassroots and bulldozing their candidate through.

Seriously, with the drumming up of racial rethorics, condamnation of the Chinese, blind defence of MACC, failure to abolish ISA, vilifying of PAS/ Tok Nik Aziz, heck...i'm a chinese and would still vote BN

...IF i'm voting with my dick.

Do not be fooled. This man will come back. The principles that provided guidelins for governance in the 50s and the 60s are now reaching its end-game. Financial wrongdoing no longer carry the same sigma as it did in the past. BN lost the by-election because they lost the seat in the general elections. So we should not read too much into this victory.

To my mind if the PR has visions of running this country they must pull up their socks. The leaders and hre capabilities that they have demonstrate so far does give room for confidence. They must be more serious. Their members must be disciplined, squeaky clean, refine their thought arguments and their skills in running those states in which they are in power. This is basic the people will only vote for PR again if they can demonstrate their ability to govern Ramalx.

First and foremost, Lulu next you do not need to quote from Jocelyn Tan. I do not have respect for her journalism. Everyone knows the real reason why UMNO lost.

Rohaizat blaming on the chinese! He should thank his 'lucky star'. If all the chinese came out to vote it would be thrashing victory for PAS! The majority will even be bigger.

Our loser said let the central leadership conduct a post-mortem. I think the central leadership itself needs a autopsy to see what is inside their head and do they have a heard?? Like our DPM said don't judge with your head but with your heard. But the problem is he did not realize that the public judge with their intelligence and we notice that they have pigeon brain and no heard.

What a pathetic typically Umno non-personality... but no sympathy from me!

P.S. In fact, Rohaizat should thank his lucky stars he got more than 10 votes. The fact that he got 5,000 indicates the number of crooks in Permatang Pasir.
