Lulu Don't Quite Know What To Say To Those Who Are Suffering

“It is said an Eastern monarch once charged his wise men to invent him a sentence, to be ever in view, and which should be true and appropriate in all times and situations. They presented him the words: "And this, too, shall pass away." How much it expresses! How chastening in the hour of pride! How consoling in the depths of affliction”

to Eli facing the darkest episode in her life, feeling so alone, vulnerable and humiliated,
rest assured that these dark moments, they, too shall pass

to Shivaranjini who misses her papa, Manoharan, so badly that she fell really ill,
rest assured that these days filled with sadness, they too, shall pass

to the people of Perak who may have to contend with a government they did not vote for,
rest assured that the evil days under BN, they too shall pass

to those of you who had paycuts, lost your jobs, or even had to close down the company you built over the years,
rest assured that your hungry years, they too shall pass.

we all will be facing a difficult time ahead, in varying degrees at different times.
but rest assured, they too shall pass.

Dear Lulu,

What a nice post. Sometimes I want to cry in frustration at the way things are turning out in the world and especially in this beloved country of ours. But I take heart from your post that all this too shall pass.

Meanwhile we shall haunt and hount Zambry and gangs to defeat. Just like General Patton & 8th Army marching through French and Belgium in defeating the final onslaught of Nazi Germany.

The real problem is that the victim may pass away (i.e. konk-off) before the dark moment passes.

looks like lulu does know what to say to those who are suffering.
