Considering the timing and all that, Lulu thinks it was done with a malicious intent.

In all sincerity, Lulu thinks it was done in good fun.

Whenever we have plays / talentimes in uni, work and church, Lulu notices we always get more points when we dress up one of the guys in drag. And years later, when we look back, we have a good laugh over it, the type where you laugh and laugh and laugh until your cheeks hurt and your stomach cramps.

HOwever, Khairy needs to remember the kind of trouble he can get into for this good fun.

Lulu Truly Disgusted With The BN For Witholding What Is Due To Penang

Met at a BN function later, Arif Shah cited the allocation - where the five schools will get RM200,000 each - as an example why the voters should back the ruling coalition.

Voters in Pematang Pauh need to understand that even though these next 10 days they're going to be given and promised all kinds of things [like how Arif Shah says he can get more allocation to develop the constituency], but at the end of the day, even IF Arif Shah wins, Pematang Pauh is going to get no better than the voters in Kepala Batas and Tasek Gelugor.
Voters in Pematang Pauh should just take what Amir Shah and gang are offering and cast their votes independant of that lest their offering is misconstrued as a bribe.

Lulu Thinks Koh Tsu Koon Should Also Ask The UMNO Boys For The Files

He [Koh Tsu Koon] requested that all files and documents pertaining to the case in the Chief Minister's office and the various state departments be declassified and made available to him so he could prepare for the debate.
"Such information is needed by both sides to prepare for arguments in the debate. It will not be fair if he has access to information and I don't," he said.

Lulu would not be surprised if the list of files which KTK wants made available to him will be returned with a "Fail Tidak Dapat Dicari", and if anything, confirms to the Pakatan government that the those files exists and have since Mar9th, mysteriously disappeared.

LGE, his team in Penang and the external auditors, with whatever little they have, have tried to dig into and understand the land transactions that have taken place, especially those in the last 5 years. LGE has tried to meet up with KTK on a more private basis having asked many times, writing to him, SMS-ing him and talking to his people but KTK has refused to meet him for many months now.
Hence the offer for an open debate as a last resort.
Hopefully, in this "debate", KTK will come out looking like the better informed person, able to explain clearly and simply how some of those dubious looking transactions took place.
He should.
Afterall, he is the better informed person, having been the Chief Minister when all this was taking place.

In the meantime, Lulu strongly urges KTK to contact his UMNO "buddies" for the files and more information. They have the info and the files. lol! they may even be related to the people who "bought" the land.

KTK should also make that set of information to the Penang government. That would be the right thing to do.

Last night, a group of bloggers met up for dinner in Tmn Desa, thanks to the generosity of the taikor.
As it was also the opening ceremony of the Olympics, we sat and watched the opening ceremony, totally awed by the whole presentation.

When the fireworks came on, someone commented that the Chinese invented fireworks, and it is "but of course" that they would come up with this beautiful display.

Then "today" happened.

Some people just don't understand.
People like Lulu, we're Malaysians.
We sing Negaraku, not [whatever the Chinese national anthem] is.
We were born here, not China.
We're Malaysians, not Chinese.

I don't know if you get what we are saying.
We see ourselves as Malaysians.
Not Chinese. Or Indian, or Arab or Indonesians and so on.
We never identified with China, India, Arab or Indonesia other than it being the country where our forefathers came from.

Why do some people continue to scream, “balik China”?

erhh... he seems to have confused Parlimentary elections with party elections. In Parlimentary elections, the people vote when the seat is vacated. In his [Syed Hamid's] party elections, though it is not the correct thing to do, the trend is to appoint your successor when you announce your intention to vacate, totally disregarding the member's right to vote.
How can PAS offer a seat to Anwar without running a "costly affair" by-election?

When Lulu saw today's papers, with the "PM: Talks did not touch on forming govt" headlines, Lulu at first thought that maybe the PM had ter-tidured when Khir Toyo, the dunwanna give up loser, was offering PAS the portfolios if they were willing to go into an alliance with UMNO.
Afterall, our Islam Hadhari Prime Minister wouldn't lie, right? Maybe fall asleep-la, but not lie lah.

Then Lulu did a search on the PAS-UMNO discussions in/for Selangor, and was reminder with clear evidence from Sleepy Head himself that power sharing was discussed.

How-la-ah? Once again, out of the 27 million Malaysians, why did we have to end up with the village idiot for Prime Minister?

To ensure that this Mak Cik project does not fail, Lulu foresees these i-dola and jean-i being forced upon the teachers and students.

The only good thing is that since it has been announced that the PC and notebook costs RM500 and RM1000 respectively, the favoured crony suppliers will not be able to mark it up like what they did in the previous laptops for teachers exercise. However, Lulu has to bear in mind that they could park their exorbidant profits under something like service and maintainance.

sigh... the rakyat just can't win in Malaysia.
