Lulu Wonders If Penang Gerakan Is Leaving Gerakan

serious-ah?
assist an opposition-led state government? how can???

afterall, remember what happened when Datuk Lee Kah Choon took up the offer from the DAP-led Penang government to join Penang Development Council and Invest Penang?
mind you, by then, he had resigned from all party posts, but remained an ordinary member of the party.
The hounds of Gerakan went for the jugular.
All kinds of accusations and tomahan were out there on him for his decision to put Penang above party politics.
Gerakan sent him a show-cause letter to explain his decision to accept a director's post in the Penang Development Corporation (PDC) and InvestPenang and why disciplinary action should not be taken against him for his decision.
In the end, Datuk Lee resigned from Gerakan.
"Since accepting the posts was not acceptable to the Gerakan leadership, I believe it is best for me to retreat totally from party politics,
I hope this puts to rest any discussion on the matter.
My objective is clear and had remained consistent throughout my political career, which is serving the people.
I believe the focus on job creation and measures to ensure sustainable growth is more important than continuous politicking. My objective is clear and it has remained consistent throughout my political career, which is serving the people. Hence, I have decided to answer the government's call for me to serve in both state agencies in this trying period,"
well said by a fine statesman.

So, going by the same measure, shouldn't Penang Gerakan, for whatever their motives may be, be censured and disciplined for doing what the PM calls, acting against BN spirit? shouldn't Penang Gerakan be jeered and intimidated into leaving Gerakan?

DOes this Dr Teng know what he is opening himself to?
Is he playing some high level politic-thing, plotting to get Gerakan Penang thrown out of Gerakan?

The day Teng HN leaves Gerakan is the day when Iran's President Ahmedinejab denounces islam and becomes a jew

What left now is their funny name " Gerakan" , but nothing geraks.
Rasuah is the only thing "geraking" them the gerakans.
Berak sounds better to replaces gerakan. Berakan .

You see, Gerak must gerak and not sit still to berak.
Politician joins politics for the country or sit back to berak and receives "kopi-O ".
Lee did the right thing if he is dedicated to work for the people.
What about the rest of Berakan ?

Lulu,

I got a question. DAP talk about Malaysian Malaysia but why meetings in the DAP are conducted in mandarin mainly??? If DAP is true to Malaysian Malaysia, how come Bahasa Malaysia is not used in DAP meetings????

I am a malay for your info. And how is DAP gonna attract the malays when DAP itself is not serious about Malaysian Malaysia??? If I join the DAP, how will I be able to understand whats said in the meetings when it is conducted in mandarin????

Lastly, why are DAP leaders misleading the public by stating that DAP is a multi-racial party???

Anon posted a damn good one .
I supports the DAP too , turns up at their speeches if conducted within KL. But most of the time i felt left out. Cause most of their talks are in Mandarin.

Only when they have joint sessions with other parties and NGOs then it is in English and partially Bahasa melayu.

So this means i can only joins PKR.
Not that my bahasa Melayu is good but i can understand more.
But, i still prefers DAP.
they have the consistency.

And btw , not sure if gerakan is "geraking" to anywhere. But PPP was told to leave the bn.
Can't they realise that umno is getting more and more arrogant?
