Lulu's BREAKFAST Lunch Dinner Series 8

taken from The Trouble With Malaysia, a Brian Yap essay from the book New Malaysian Essays 1

At the end of 2006, Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi officiated the opening of a nasi kandar restaurant in Perth, partly owned by his brother.
Problem was, a devastating flood was going on in Johor at the same time, which killed at least 17 people and caused more than 90,000 to be evacuated.
The restaurant has since closed.
