Lulu BREAKFAST Lunch Dinner Series 2

footnote taken from The Trouble With Malaysia, a Brian Yap essay from the book New Malaysian Essays 1

The Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) is a much hyped shipping area modelled after the Jebel All Free Zone in Dubai (the same operator was hired to run the PKFZ for 15 years but the arrangement ended on bad blood).
Evidence of mismanagement and improper conduct was found throughout the project - including land bought at inflated prices - which overshot its RM1.1 billion budget to reach a total cost of RM4.6 billion.
The government has since agreed to bail out the project.

the biggest white elephant is coming, courtesy of the same corrupt mostuche chinama, in the form of double tracking of northern region. a total of RM12.5 billion. he is happily signing these contracts while oblivious to the dangers in bus transportation. 3 died in the latest tragedy and a petition is ongoing but he doesnt even give a damn to the next victim.
Like Anwar said, in cabinet meetings, they dont have the guts to speak out on human issues. sheepishly, they will ask "can we participate in these contracts.
