Lulu's Wondering If We Had A Sudden Population Explosion

"The shortage has also occurred because of the rising population."
Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Shafie Apdal quoted by theStar when commenting on the cooking oil shortage and the 5kg per buyer limit for cooking oil solution.

Lulu looked up our population growth.
This is what Lulu found.

Do you see any rising population growth which could suddenly result in excessive demand for cooking oil which in turn leads to the cooking oil shortage?
This is so duh. We have a gradually rising population growth. We did not grow such that overnight, we ran out of cooking oil.

As lulu as Lulu may be, Lulu suspects that the problem lies somewhere betweenand cooking oil being a control price item.

Days after days inflation on the way
Minister in charge still not awake
Taking reasons miles away!

How about a pillow or two
to keep him snoring instead of guessing his way!
In same patent as PM
so a Pillow Party not far away!

Selangor CM last boomed the broom.
It is time for Pillow to boom!
To give Domestic industry a bigger room!
So be excused on the roam!

World's largest producer of palm oil facing cooking oil shortage. Imagine what the Saudis would do when they wake up and find that they face a petrol shortage

Shafie Apdal is NOT lying!

The population is increasing EVEN though our official pop DB is showing otherwise. Like everything else in bolihland, the official DB has missed out those illegal semi-M'sians by the million!

Shafie Apdal is doing HIS job well by pretending NOT knowing the existence of these 'semi-M'sians'.

Of course HE is truly ignorant about the economic factors behind the cooking oil shortage - he dont get 1+1=2 for the like of high world palm oil commodity price + superficial market control mechanism championed by BN = man-make cooking oil shortage!

Shafie Apdal is just ONE of all those BN ministers......sigh...2x sigh...
