If You Have Family In Batu Pahat, PLease Tell Them To Keep The House Tidy

cos the police may come knocking on their door.

Major op to seize sex DVDs
MUAR: Police in Batu Pahat and here will launch a massive operation to nab those involved in distribution and in possession of the sex DVDs of Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek.
Muar police chief Asst Comm Mohammad Nasir Ramli said the operation would include door-to-door searches of residents suspected to be in possession of the banned material.
He said it was an offence to possess and distribute copies of the DVDs and that offenders would be charged under Section 292 of the Penal Code, which carries a three-year jail term or fine or both

It's either a very stupid scare tactic or a very stupid exercise or both.

The police, by the looks of it, haave been given the license to raid all homes in Batu Pahat.
The DVDs were left all over town, so, how do you identify those suspected in possession of the dvd?
DVDs are small and thin, and can be hidden anywhere in the house. And the men who hide them are quite experienced hide-ers, having gained many years of experience in hiding them from the wife and children.
And it's not like the DVD bears labels like "Chua Soi Lek Sex DVD" or "DVD Pemimpin Politik Yang Terlampau" or anything like that. One could stuff them in between a stack of family holiday DVD collection, or your favourite Teresa Teng collection, and the police would have to, if they were seriously doing their job, play each and every cd.

Lulu would like to write it off as a scare tactic, but having seen the police bear their ugly horns and nasty hand in imposing roadblocks into KL to incur the public's wrath, Lulu would not put it pass the police to victimise selected candidates and raiding their homes.

And if the police wants to show consistensty, they should also visit the TV stations highlighted in the earlier post.
Lulu also wonders if OKT has surrendered his copy or not. OKT is a fair and just person and would not have believed the rumours of a sex DVD featuring one of his men until he saw it for himself. Lulu hopes he remembers to surrender his cos if he gets caught with it, he risks a three-year jail term or fine or both, and this would cause him to lose his seat and make him ineligible to stand for elections for 5 years.
Lulu's sure we do not want OKT to go down this way.

Hmm... hey what happened to the cops who made that indecent & power abuse recording of the poor lady (made to strip and pull her ears by that police woman) and got it distributed across the internet and handphones?

just one question. if the person is not senior politician, do you expect the police to rant and rave as well as issue such threats? come on, isnt it time the police perform its main task which is to uphold law and order without fear and favour?
i have sympathies for Dr Chua. This is his private life and goons deserved to be flocked for using such despicable acts to kill him off politically. surely, this is no worse than the scandalous corruption in the Port Klang Free Trade Zone project. Why did the main actors for that scandal remain scot free?

Should Lulu be a Batu Pahat person whose house/apartment got searched and then discovered missing valuables, what then?

The Waves just begin!!
A Political Wave or a Police wave?
Search for keeping CD
or should search for the recording?
Or, just a search for something?
A storm from inside or outside?
Or many sides?
A wave until GE to come!

There is a really simple solution to all this (according to Nazri).

Give Chua a free plastic surgery session and all will be solved. Even his own wife will not be able to accuse him of anything.

See?? Nazri is not bodoh after all!

do your research on the port klang fleece trade zone. then, make your own decision whether he is guilty as charged for his corrupt acts.

well, he did commit it so he should just bow out gracefully.

as for the house search thing, i wish the police all the best since they have so much free time...

Looks like he did not exactly bow out gracefully.
After admitting his guilt, he still thought that the people still wanted him.
In fact, a public survey was done by Astro and the China Press to access the public's reaction as to his acceptability after the scandal.
The result was 91% and 99% respectively against.
So, he has to leave rather reluctantly.
Not only that, he blamed those who voted for his ouster as "holier then thou" types!!
So, you'd be the judge!

Well said, police have nothing better to do. In fact, why dont they raid the pasar malam - because they sell all sort of porno DVDs in the open anyway. I feel sorry for this Datuk, I mean if only the public were as forgiving as his wife and kids.

Talk about police state. :)

House to House seach? Sounds like budak sekolah pengawas (pen-mawas) going from class to class to conduct spot checks.

I challenge Muar police chief Asst Comm Mohammad Nasir Ramli to show me which act is he using to conduct "door-to-door" search.

It is one thing that you can search a suspect house without warrant, it is totally another ball game when you go "door-to-door".

Sounds like Nazi's gestapo.

Worse than confirming it as a scare tactic, it shows the serious non professionalism involved.
