Maybe Badawi Had A Different Upbringing From Lulu's And Never Read "The Emperor's New Clothes"

Lulu read a lot when she was small.
Badawi probably didn't, and still doesn't, resulting in his very limited ability to think.

Many years ago, there lived an emperor who was quite an average fairy tale ruler, with one exception: he cared much about his clothes. One day he heard from two swindlers named Guido and Luigi Farabutto that they could make the finest suit of clothes from the most beautiful cloth. This cloth, they said, also had the special capability that it was invisible to anyone who was either stupid or not fit for his position.
Being a bit nervous about whether he himself would be able to see the cloth, the emperor first sent two of his trusted men to see it. Of course, neither would admit that they could not see the cloth and so praised it. All the townspeople had also heard of the cloth and were interested to learn how stupid their neighbors were.
The emperor then allowed himself to be dressed in the clothes for a procession through town, never admitting that he was too unfit and stupid to see what he was wearing. He was afraid that the other people would think that he was stupid.
Of course, all the townspeople wildly praised the magnificent clothes of the emperor, afraid to admit that they could not see them, until a small child said:
"But he has nothing on!"
This was whispered from person to person until everyone in the crowd was shouting that the emperor had nothing on. The emperor heard it and felt that they were correct, but held his head high and finished the procession.

Those BN fellas will be approaching people at shopping malls and government-backed events [lol!] to obtain the signatures to prove that the public opposes recent street protests that have roiled national politics.
Are you going to be like the child and say things as they are, or are you going to join the pretenders?

No way those lazy people will go out and asked for signatures. They will just create a list of fake ALIs, AhCHONGs and MUTHUs and show how they have so much support from the rakyat.

That's what the EC is doing every elections.

So it doesn't matter whether you sign/vote. The results are fabricated anyway.

Let's say that they did go to the shopping mall, i'm sure they are going to bring along the posters they fabricated, like in the RTM, and force ppl to sign. I bet they will like say, "U want a peaceful Malaysia? If you want a peaceful Malaysia, you have to sign this petition". Completely marginalise the truth...

Anyway, they will be very unlucky if the approach me with their petition...

That Malay (most likely UMNO unemployed!) leader is looking for Datukship, and Lee Chong mng is looking at Dan Sei-ship like his predecesor MP for BB-DAP(yeah, emperor's NEW clothes!)turnedcoat...The Face of NS, anymore?

They would just need to go round the schools and obtain the puplis' signatures from classroom to classroom. In a week they can get 5 million signatures

An elitist society this enamored by titles suggests that it is unlikely to really care for the masses of untitled and nameless people.

Not only is official racism eating way the very moral fiber of society but there's this vainglorious worship of latukship that is starting to mean next to nothing but just a vanity and craven desire to secure more special social, political and business privileges.

No way that Bad awi has never read about the tale of the emperor's new clothes. He belongs to the generation where English was the medium of instruction and by primary school should have come across that. If he hadn't grasp the moral of that story then, he might have surely done so later and understood that deeply for life.

Ooh, ooh! I'm so enthusiastic about this campaign, I already have a slogan thought up: "UMNO-BN is such a good government, even dead people vote for us! Hidup BN!!!!"

No matter what his claims to the contrary, given his background and his father being a man greatly respected..it is impossible AAB doesnt feel for the decisions he has made.

He can make his eyes blind, his ears deaf and his mouth dumb but his conscience will never set him free.

I actually welcomed his rise to PM the last time. He had his day. He floppped. Time for him to leave before he is remembered as the Bapa memusnahkan Negara

No matter who's one's father a person is responsible for his own deed. A Faustian deal brings its known consequences, in this lifetime or another. Don't think pretense or "dunno-ing" is a good excuse or makes any difference.

Lulu, I'm going to a shopping complex today (17th Dec) and if anyone come to ask me to oppose the street protests, I'll let them know that this country will be a much better place without the BN!
