Lulu Wondering Why The Parliament Is Discussing Increments For The House Speaker and His Deputies

On inflation, he said the average rate for the first 10 months was 1.9%, falling well within the government's 2% to 2.5% target for the year.
The official inflation projection for 2008 is also between 2% and 2.5%.

Second Finance Minister Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop source : here

On this year’s inflation rate, Najib said it was expected to be about 2%.

With such a low inflation rate, why is there a debate on a salary increment for Tan Sri Ramli Ngah Talib and Datuk Lim Si Cheng?
cos they're doing a good job?

Malaysiakini Kula suspended for four days

The ISA should be used on this penyangak for trying to mislead the rakyat. Food alone has gone up more than 20% and yet he still tries to act dunno

I often wonder why a Speaker in parliament is so known when all he does is to selectively limit speeches and says little himself.

of course the speaker Tan Sri Ramli Ngah Talib deserves the raise - he rejected ALL motions put forward by the oppositions that's why. Remember how he dealed with the "bocor", "stupid", "racist" remarks, the speaker is astonishingly remarkable.

Lulu, I feel so sad and angry (favourite words of the PM of Bolehland!) that you have to question the increase!
The increase is fully justified (by the BN, at least) because they are doing a wonderful job of preventing the opposition party MPs from saying what they have to say!
