Lulu Thinks Batu Talam Has The Makings of a Good Indie Film

Meet Ng Chee Pang, Independant candidate to Batu Talam.
Lulu really likes this guy. Young, brash, carefree...

His election campaign is liken to a script for an independant comedy movie. Lulu's not being insulting, but it's really funny. And in view of the dark cloud looming on blogsphere, we really could do with some good laughs.

from the Star, Unknown youngster to take on BN
“I would like to follow in the footsteps of my father, who was active in politics.
His father Ng Kwi Liang, 55, had contested in six general elections since 1982 and lost in all.

The Barisan Nasional (BN) deployed their heavyweights to Batu Talam to ensure success in their fight against him. CHee Pang campaign workers consists of his father-cum-campaign manager and brother Chee Fu, 19, who acted as photographer. They were so low profile after the nominations prompting Malaysiakini to come up with the headliner "Batu Talam: Independent 'missing'" . No posters, no banners. Instead, they have printed 1,000 name cards of Chee Pang, and they hope to pass them all out. Just the three of them.
Suhaini Aznan opines that BN does not want to be seen as bullies swinging a sledgehammer to swat a fly. But they're still bringing the whole squadron down.

Then there were cristicism that he's "lepasan SPM aje" Last laugh is on Ng Yen Yen cos the other candidate is also a lepasan SPM. LOL!
This good laugh was contributed by Susan Loone

But in the meantime, it's fun watching the UMNO opportunist swamp Batu Talam trying to catch this fly.
So far, the laughs have been pretty good.
AND it makes a good indie. Any takers?

Josh thinks that since the fly is so small and the fly swatters - so many, the latter will swat each other and the little fly - flies away.
