Yet Another Lulu Sing-Along

Where has our PM gone
Where has our PM gone?
Long time no see
Where has our PM gone?
even through the flood
Where has our PM gone
Gone on holiday, yes he did
When will he ever learn?
Oh when will he ever learn
[to be sung to the tune of Where Have All the Flowers Gone]

Lulu's been watching the news lately to catch the visuals of the flood. Every night, you see Najib (the original keris waver) at the ops center, visiting schools, giving directions, talking to the victims etc.
Something was not so right about the pictures.
Is it just Lulu, or have the rest of you also noticed the PM's absence?

The last time he was mentioned was on
23rd Dec Floods round-up: PM wants people to arrest looters, he was in the country, in Batu Pahat and around visiting the victims

The next mention was on
25th Dec A Malaysian kind of celebration. But it was written that "Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi was represented by Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Dr Ng Yen Yen", and his Christmas message was released by the PM's department.
Lulu also thinks the message was probably prepared before the floods down south as there was no reference to that disaster and the opportune jingle for Malaysians regardless of religion to face turmoils together.

Per the gosip on KMU, our PM's on holiday in Perth.

Just the other day, Ketua Penerangan UMNO, Senator Tan Sri Muhammad Muhd. Taib [he's the one who left Australia with close to AUS$1mil in his bag. He was aquitted of the charge.] berkata in the Utusan Malaysia Pas Tidak Sensitif Penderitaan Rakyat,

err.... looks like this headline may also be apropriate PM Tidak Sensitif Penderitaan Rakyat.

seharusnya segera menghulurkan bantuan dan bukan memberi keutamaan cuti-cuti Malaysia,...maaf, cuti-cuti Australia. btw, jangan tiru macam saya semasa exit Australia-ya.
sigh...

The flood brings out what a lousy state Johore actually is*.

Example:

Johor not conducive for investment
Kuek Ser Kuang Keng | Dec 28, 06 12:32pm

(special report} Among the problems holding back Singaporean investors are poor security, unfriendly business policies, dwindling competitiveness and political instability.

# Robberies and kidnapping
# Dr M-Pak Lah spat a factor

...........

*Johore governance has always been so visibly and unabashedly envious of Singapore for decades.

Notice how slow the local council is responding to this sort of calls:

"....The Segamat Small Traders Association chairman Datuk Ghai Soo Ming said that the raise would be unfair and too high as many businesses were severely affected by the flood on Dec 19. "We are asking the local council to postpone the rise in property assessment rates for at least three years as many businesses have suffered huge losses and would take years to recover," he said. Ghai, who is also the Malaysia Small Traders Association president, said that after the three-year grace period, the local council could again re-evaluate the property assessment rates...."

More signs substantiating the impression that Johore is a particularly lousy stae....just wanna more and more revenue. All the mores - now water mores.

I do not wish to sound like a racist like UMNO, MCA or MIC but I can't help noticing from the many pix in the msm showing all the UMNO leaders comforting only people of their own community. Hey, what about a pix with a Chinese or Indian old lady/man/kid. How much more can the non-Malays stomach this kind of racist display?

Now, as if the Arm Forces personnels were mostly demanding money to rescue kampong folks.

Not a squeak from the Defence Minister on this serious breach of discipline and corruption.

No emergency Parliamentary session to discuss the crisis if Johore really cannot handle it. And the PM calls on the public to arrest looters! Yeah, what security has the public when the System itself blew it and bites their back?

A dweeb on an ego trip is, nevertheless, a potentially dangerous fanatic infused with ecclesiastic self-righteousness, but being not of a reformed church stuff, is irredeemable to any measure of normal human logic and common sense where they matter.

The scataological parody takes centre stage when the BS calls the other camel dung.

Only s**t noosepapers must dutifully report this sort of crap uncritically.

Salam Sejahtera ,

The PM spends his holidays in Australia, but wants others to spend theirs in Malaysia in VMY 2007. In essence, he is telling them that "Malaysia, truly worse than Australia". He thinks that foreigners are fools who do not know where to spend their holidays.
